Planning Appeal – Brick End
In 2019 the local planning authority refused an application to create a caravan site on land in Brick End. However, the applicant has appealed against this refusal.
The Parish Council appointed a legal expert to work on behalf of the parish, and he has submitted comments on behalf of the local community as persuasively as possible to the planning Inspector.
Uttlesford District Council has sent the Inspector all the comments and objections they received when the application was made. The window for submitting any extra views or information has now closed and we are waiting for a hearing date to be set. Please see updates on the Broxted Village Facebook page, in the Five Parishes Magazine and here, for the current position.
The Planning Inspector will be holding a public hearing but this is unlikely to take place until next year. When the Parish Council has more information we will add it to this website.
